The market has also expanded as people with higher disposable incomes are opting for greater customisation of their vehicles. In India, automobile aftermarket industry can be broadly categorised into vehicle electronic, chassis, thermal and consumer-based accessories.
The industry is fast becoming organised and people are displaying a preference for quality, branded accessories. However, at the same time, a large part of the industry remains highly fragmented with unorganised players dominating the scenario.
