Basic chemicals comprise an extensive category of chemicals that include bulk petrochemicals, polymers, fertilisers, inorganic chemicals and so on. The basic chemical segment is a significant contributor to the chemical industry’s overall revenue generated and the industry is in itself one of the largest consumers of such products.
