A number of domestic and multinational pharma companies are nowadays collaborating in the area of drug discovery by focusing on novel targets, covering a range of therapeutic areas such as inflammation and metabolic diseases. The whole process of drug discovery and their development is a lengthy and expensive one. It is also very risky and involves huge costs through the initiation of the project to bringing the newly discovered drug into the market.
