Rapid coagulation diagnostic kits are utilised for a variety of testing procedures such as blood clotting, haemophilia test, hematologic test, lupus blood test and so on. Although at a nascent stage of development, the Indian coagulation market is expanding at a rapid pace in recent years. Several factors have been responsible for this growth, including the increase in the number of patients who avail of anti-coagulation therapy for coronary diseases and the large of number of people opting for self-testing products. At the same time, coagulation testing has vast potential in India which has a significant number of its people residing in remote, rural areas where reaching immediate medical care is often not possible.
