Due to the stiff competition among fragrance product manufacturers and the price consciousness of the target audiences, fragrance products are being made increasingly affordable, which has further boosted growth in the industry. The fragrance market is dominated by the men’s product category and is highly fragmented and marked by unorganised players. A tendency to stay well-groomed and rise in disposable income among the population has led to rise in demand for fragrance-related products within the country. Additionally, the fact that perfumes are a popular gift item has also led to significant growth in the fragrance industry in India.
